Lay out your problem and we will do the work to fix it.

Twenty minutes, no charge, with an advisor who works both tax systems every day. You will leave the call knowing what you owe, what has to be filed, and what it will cost.

Tell us where you stand

Enough to point the first call in the right direction. Nothing here commits you to anything.

We do not pass your details to anyone. See our privacy notice.

Three ways to start

All of them reach the same team: US CPAs, a Canadian CPA and IRS Enrolled Agents. Pick whichever suits how you would rather do this.

Book a call

Twenty minutes, free, by video or phone. Evening slots available on both time zones.

Send the details

Write it out and we will read it properly before replying. Usually the same working day.

Just call

Weekdays, 8am to 6pm Pacific. If we are with a client you will get a call back the same day.

What happens on the call

No sales script. The point is to work out whether you have a problem and what it costs to solve.

01

You describe the situation

Which countries, which years, and what has already been filed. Rough answers are fine, we will work out the detail later.

02

We tell you what applies

Which returns are due, which reporting sits on top, and whether anything is urgent enough to deal with this month rather than next.

03

A written fixed quote

Sent afterwards, with the scope set out. No work starts and nothing is charged until you have agreed it.

Both sides, one team
You should only have to explain your situation once.

One conversation, one set of documents, and two returns that agree with each other. That is the whole proposition.

Nine offices across the United States, and a practice that runs remotely across every state and province.

Before you call

This is general guidance rather than advice on your situation.

Is the first call really free?

Yes, and it is a real conversation rather than a qualifying call. If it turns out you have no filing obligation we will tell you that, which happens more often than you might expect.

What should I have ready?

Nothing formal. It helps to know roughly which years you have filed in each country, whether you hold accounts or property across the border, and the date of any move. Documents come later.

I am behind on filing. Is it safe to talk to you?

The conversation is confidential and nothing is filed or reported off the back of it. Coming forward before a tax authority contacts you generally widens the relief available, so the call is worth having sooner rather than later.

How do you handle my documents?

Through an encrypted client portal rather than email attachments. You upload once, covering both countries, and we chase anything missing.

Start with twenty minutes and a straight answer.

No charge, no obligation, and a written fixed quote afterwards.
